As always our golden girl Lucy was in fine form, so much love for this very special mare! She was 5th in the 1.35m.
Numero Too stepped up so well in the 6YO young horse championship. He placed 4th in the class and 6th in the ‘style’ section of the class. This horse is relatively green to this level of competition and stepped up like a champ with two faultless rounds against some very nice young horses.
Lafayette MVNZ finished off a great weekend in the 1.30m Mini Prix placing 4th after having an unlucky last fence down in a very fast jump off.
Lafayette MVNZ the star of the team picking up a 3rd and a 6th in the 1.30m classes and then a 3rd and a 4th in the 1.25m and Silver Series Qualifier! We just love how hard this horse tries, not touching a pole all weekend.
Emma than caught the ride for Geraldton and also had a faultless weekend on board Lucy, winning the Silver Series Qualifier on the Sunday!
Numero Too was also on form at Geraldton to win the Bronze Series Qualifier!
Every year we feel very blessed to have one of Australia’s most stunning venues located in WA. The Yalambi team continually puts on a world class show for us!
Juggling a stunning wedding in between a weekend of jumping, Diamond B Catapulte finished her career off with a fabulous round in the silver series, this wonderful mare will now enjoy retirement and we aim to put her in foal this spring!
The year really started with a bang with SRSJC hosting the first ever Polo and Jumping in the Valley with our best polo players taking each other on alongside WA’s best showjumpers!
We were beyond thrilled with the way the show went and hope to continue this as an annual date on our calendar.
Oaks Diabella kicked off her season on fire placing 6th in the 1.30m grand Prix and 5th in both 1.20m warm up classes each day.
Both Lafayette MVNZ and Here To Stay made the long trip across the Nullarbor to finish off the year with a bang! Lucy and Emma had huge success against some stiff competition given they are such a new and green combination. They placed 5th in the Australian young rider championship qualifier and after making it into the 1.45m final were 14th overall! They then continued on to Adelaide for the Jumping with the Stars classes to place 2nd and 5th.
Belinda and Jake also had a superb weekend with Jake putting his best foot forward to bring home a 4th in the CIC 3*** at Adelaide International 3DE and won highest placed off the track for the second year in a row!
Sarah had a wonderful finish to the season on board the scopey Fiorenza (aka Fly) who stepped up to Grand Prix level this year. Fly placed 4th in the prestigious Patrons Cup and also 4th in the Senior State Title. This is looking to be a promising combination for 2019!
